Fire Relief Fund: Support Day Laborers Affected by the Malibu and Pacific Palisades Fire
The recent wildfires that tore through Malibu and Pacific Palisades have caused immense damage, leaving many workers without employment as businesses, homes, and infrastructure were destroyed. Among those severely impacted are the Malibu Community Labor Exchange workers—skilled individuals who rely on daily jobs in construction, landscaping, and home services. The MCLE workers have lost their jobs overnight, and some have lost their homes as a result of the fires. Our workers are in dire need of your support.
How Your Donation Helps:
Your donation will provide critical financial support to MCLE workers who have lost their jobs due to the wildfires. These funds will help workers and their families meet their basic needs while they search for new work opportunities. For those who lost their homes, your contribution will also assist with rehousing efforts, offering vital resources to help them recover and regain stability.
By giving, you are ensuring that these workers can sustain themselves during this challenging time and rebuild their lives after the devastation.
